By downloading, installing, or using Rex Journal ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any of these Terms, please do not use the Application.
These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you ("the User") and Sebastián Ureña ("the Developer"), independent developer of Rex Journal.
Continued use of the Application after any modification to these Terms implies acceptance of those modifications.
Rex Journal is a mobile application for Android designed to help users manage and remember information about their personal and professional contacts. Its main features include:
The Application operates locally on the User's device, without requiring an internet connection for its main functionality and without transmitting data to external servers.
The User agrees to use Rex Journal responsibly and lawfully. The following are expressly prohibited:
The User is solely responsible for the content they record within the Application and for ensuring that such use complies with applicable laws in their jurisdiction.
Rex Journal does not collect, transmit, or store any personal User data on external servers. All information entered in the Application resides exclusively on the User's device.
Data entered (contacts, notes, settings) is stored only in the device's internal memory. The Developer has no access to this information under any circumstances.
Users with a Pro plan have access to the backup feature. Backup files are generated locally and the User is solely responsible for their storage and protection. The Developer does not store copies of these backups.
The Application may request notification permissions to send reminders. No requested permission is used to collect personal data or for tracking or advertising activities.
The User can delete all their data at any time by uninstalling the Application from the device. This action is irreversible.
Rex Journal is available for free with basic features, including up to 15 contacts and 1 interface theme. No registration or payment information is required to use the free plan.
The Pro Monthly plan is offered at USD 1.99 per month, processed through Google Play Store. The subscription automatically renews at the end of each period, unless the User cancels at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
The Pro Lifetime plan is offered through a one-time payment of USD 24.99 through Google Play Store. This payment grants permanent access to all Pro features without recurring payments.
Refund requests are subject to Google Play Store's policy. In exceptional cases, the Developer will consider direct refund requests sent to rexjournal.app@gmail.com within 7 days of purchase.
The Developer reserves the right to modify plan pricing, notifying active users at least 30 days in advance. Price changes do not affect Lifetime plan users.
Rex Journal, including its name, logo, visual design, source code, texts, and interfaces, is the exclusive property of the Developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Downloading and installing the Application grants the User a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use it on Android devices they own, exclusively for personal and non-commercial purposes.
Content that the User enters into the Application (notes, names, contact information) is their exclusive property. The Developer claims no rights over such content.
The Application is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The Developer does not guarantee that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
The Developer shall not be liable for:
Users are encouraged to make regular backups of their information, especially before updating or uninstalling the Application.
The Developer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When significant changes are made, users will be notified through an Application update or by notice on this web page.
The "last updated" date at the beginning of this document indicates when the Terms were last reviewed.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
