Yes, completely. Rex Journal doesn't need internet to work. Everything — contacts, notes, groups, and reminders — lives on your phone from day one.

There's no login, no syncing, and no server waiting for a connection. Open the app and everything is right there, whether you have signal or not.

With the Free plan your data stays on your current phone. If you uninstall or switch devices, the information cannot be automatically recovered.

With the Pro plan you can generate an encrypted backup file and save it anywhere — Google Drive, your computer, wherever you like. When you install Rex Journal on your new phone, import the backup and everything is back in seconds.

You don't lose anything you've already saved. All your contacts, notes, and groups remain intact.

What changes is that you return to the free plan limits: up to 15 visible contacts and 1 interface theme. Contacts above that limit are saved but inactive until you return to Pro.

You can cancel at any time through Google Play → Subscriptions, with no penalties.

Rex Journal has no servers of its own and no access to your information. What you write in the app never leaves your phone, so there's nothing to sell, share, or leak.

There's no advertising, no behavioral analytics, and no third parties involved. The app is a tool, not a data product.
